Halloween Round Up: Party Games

October 24, 2014 By Holly Leave a Comment Filed Under: Celebrate, Halloween

We rounded up our favorite halloween party games. These were used with kids ages four to twelve at a harvest party block party, but could be tweaked for almost any age. If you are having a lot of kids at your party, stations are a great way to keep everyone entertained. Just make sure you have enough helpers to facilitate.

pumpkinpaintingPaint a Pumpkin:: Pick up lots of mini pumpkins and grab markers, stickers, and glitter glue. Kids will have fun painting, drawing, and decorating their personal tiny pumpkins.

IMG_1886Pumpkin Toss:: You’ll need 4 plastic pumpkins and a few ping pong balls for this game. Have kids stand in front of one pumpkin, with the rest getting farther away. They have 4 ping pong balls and want to get 1 in each bucket, with the last one being the hardest.

IMG_1702Candy Guess:: Make a simple lollipop tree out of a styrofoam cone wrapped in ribbon. Pick up a bag of lollipops and mark some of them with a marker on the bottom of the stick. Kids get to pick 1, and if they get one with a marked stick, they also win a prize.

IMG_3000Bobbing for Donuts:: Let kids go bobbing for donuts by stringing donut holes through a ribbon. The goal is to eat the entire donut without using their hands. Powdered sugar donuts are a bit messier, and a lot more fun!

Happy Planning,

Thankful for our new Stitch & Chat club and all the joy it has already brought 🧵🪡. #stitchpeople #artistherapy #crossstitch #crossstitchhouses #stitchandchat #11cupcakes #crossstitchpeople #crossstitchgifts #neighborhoodcommunity #pretzelday
She insisted on dressing up like Reba McEntire, and thanks to her new love of country music I now know all the words to ‘Consider Me Gone’. Happy Halloween from the Queen of Country Music and her dinosaur sidekick. 🎃🎤🦖
This is your sign to throw a COLOR PARTY🎉. ❤️💛💙💜💚🩷🖤🤍🧡
…but on pretzel day? Well, I like pretzel day 🥨
Our first neighborhood New Year’s Day parade was a success! 🥳 Thank you for the great idea #bobgoff
And it only took 82 hours to complete it. My next project is going to have fewer bricks. 🏡
