Scrabble Bridal Shower

May 20, 2015 By Holly Leave a Comment Filed Under: Bridal Showers, Celebrate, Scrabble Bridal Shower

This week we’re featuring this fun scrabble themed bridal shower my family threw for my cousin’s fiance. Ryan and Nikki love to play games, and all family holidays and weekends involve charades, cards, and trivia games. I thought it would be fun to do a Games Shower theme, with a small emphasis on Scrabble.

With scrabble being the main theme of the shower,  it was easy to use scrabble tiles for fun decorations and food labels. We used a small amount of sticky tac to make this welcome board that stood up in the foyer when guests arrived. Simple finger foods and desserts were served as guests arrived, along with punch and apple cider. Aside from the scrabble tiles, I hung playing cards around the room as garland, and board games were used as stands for some of the food items. The banner was made to look like scrabble tiles and was re-used at the wedding reception.

The banner was made to look like scrabble tiles and said Forever Yours, which was the couple’s tagline. They re-used the banner at the wedding reception by hanging it from the welcome table.
