Linus’ Sesame Street Party: Food

One of the trickiest parts of planning a children’s birthday party is serving food that’s kid-friendly while still appealing to the adults in the room. For this party, I leaned into the Sesame Street theme and created a menu that was fun, familiar, and easy for everyone to enjoy.

We served Elmo’s Pizza, Dorothy’s Goldfish, and Snuffle’s Truffles—all big hits with the kids. To balance things out, I added Abby Cadabby’s Fruit Wands, which were colorful, fresh, and just as popular with the grown-ups. Drinks included Mr. Hooper’s Chocolate Milk, a nostalgic nod that adults loved just as much as the kids.

Of course, no party is complete without dessert! Cookie Monster’s Monster Cookies, cupcakes, and cake pops rounded out the menu and made for a sweet ending to the celebration.
