DIY Elmo Birthday Party Treat Cups

Our Elmo Party came together a bit last minute, which meant I didn’t have time to order the colored treat cups I originally had in mind. Instead of stressing, I got creative with what I could find locally. I picked up simple white paper cups from Party City and decided to turn them into something fun and festive myself. Using the flat eraser on the end of a pencil and a little craft paint, I added polka dots in the party’s red and blue color palette.

It was an easy DIY that took very little time but made a big visual impact on the snack table. The cups ended up being perfect for serving carrots and dip—and even better, the kids actually ate the carrots, which felt like a party win all on its own.
