You know how you own a few items you just can’t imagine ever getting rid of? Even if it is no longer in style or a little worn, it still brings you joy? For me, this purple Kate Spade bag is one of those items. I received it as a gift almost 7 years ago […]

Teal & Sparkle Bridal Shower Instagram Banner

August 20, 2014 By Holly Leave a Comment Filed Under: Bridal Showers, Celebrate, Crafting, Design/Create, Teal & Sparkle Bridal Shower

I wanted to make a focal point at the shower that incorporated photos of the couple. This instagram photo banner ended up being the perfect decoration that tied in all of the colors and showcased the Bride-to-be’s beautiful engagement photos. I printed all of the photos 4×6, and uploaded photos of letters as jpegs to […]

DIY Elmo Party: Easy Party Trays

January 9, 2013 By Holly Leave a Comment Filed Under: Celebrate, Design/Create, Elmo's World Party, Kids DIY & Crafts

Using silver trays that I found at the dollar store, I spray painted them a fun aqua blue to match the rest of the party decor. Be sure to always spray paint outside as the fumes can become a bit much. I also wouldn’t recommend putting food directly onto the trays unless you use a […]

DIY Elmo Party: Treat Cups

January 8, 2013 By Holly Leave a Comment Filed Under: Celebrate, Design/Create, Elmo's World Party, Kids DIY & Crafts

DIY Elmo Party Ideas | Our Elmo Party was a little last minute and I didn’t have time to order colored treat cups, so I had to get creative. I found these plain white cups at Party City. Using the flat eraser on a pencil, I used craft paint to polka-dot them in the red and blue colors of the party. They were great for carrots and dip at the party, and the kids even ate the carrots!

I have had lots of people write asking me where they could find these tiny milk bottles. So today I am sharing my secret. DIY Elmo Party: Polka-dot Backdrop

After searching high and low for a polka-dotted fabric that I could use as a backdrop for this Sesame Street Party, I finally decided to make my own. I think it will be a great backdrop that can be used over and over again. Supplies: 2 Yards White Fabric, 6 bottles fabric paint (we used […]

She insisted on dressing up like Reba McEntire, and thanks to her new love of country music I now know all the words to ‘Consider Me Gone’. Happy Halloween from the Queen of Country Music and her dinosaur sidekick. 🎃🎤🦖
This is your sign to throw a COLOR PARTY🎉. ❤️💛💙💜💚🩷🖤🤍🧡
…but on pretzel day? Well, I like pretzel day 🥨
Our first neighborhood New Year’s Day parade was a success! 🥳 Thank you for the great idea #bobgoff
And it only took 82 hours to complete it. My next project is going to have fewer bricks. 🏡
