Easy Elmo Birthday Party Food
I don’t believe that you have to spend a lot of time or money to throw a great kids’ party. A huge part of that is keeping the party food simple and familiar. When kids recognize what’s on the table, they’re more likely to eat it. That means less waste and fewer last-minute worries for you. It also helps tremendously to choose foods that can be prepared ahead of time. Then you’re not stuck in the kitchen when you should be enjoying the celebration.
For this Elmo’s World party, we kept the menu easy and kid-approved with pizza bagels, carrots and dip, watermelon slices, goldfish crackers, cupcakes, and milk. Everything was quick to put together, colorful, and perfect for little hands. The mix of savory snacks, fresh fruit, and a sweet treat kept things balanced without feeling overdone.
One of my biggest party tips is not to be afraid to prep food a day or two in advance. Washing and cutting fruit, portioning snacks, or even assembling items like pizza bagels ahead of time can take so much stress out of the actual party day. When food is simple and planned ahead, you’ll have more time to focus on what really matters—celebrating your child and making sweet memories together. 🎉

Happy Planning,
