Red, White, & Root Beer: Favors

July 1, 2011 By Holly 1 Comment Filed Under: Fourth of July

Just in case our guests didn’t get enough root beer tonight each guest was sent home with the everything they need for a root beer float.  A bottle of  Goose Island’s Chicago Style Root Beer, a mini carton of vanilla ice cream, a spoon, and a paper straw. We chose Goose Island because it is local and the label is just perfect for the Fourth of July.  Packaged in a red paper bag with a bottle cap tag.

For guests who were going to have a longer trip home we packaged theirs in an insulated bag. We didn’t want to send anyone home with melted ice cream!

✨Spread a little happiness with this Thanksgiving Blessing trail mix. We make it every year for the kids teachers. Download the tag at the link in my bio.
I’ve been wanting to host this party for a long time…painting gingerbread houses! Good food, cozy socks and lots of paint and glitter with some of my favorite people 🎄🎀✨
🍁Our neighborhood Fall Fest was a huge success! We had spent weeks planning, designing, organizing, assembling, and prepping, but had no idea if anyone would show up. What a delight when 193 people came to join in the afternoon. Face painting, bobbing for donuts, pumpkin painting, decorate your own tote bag, and so much more. Thanks so much to all of the volunteers and those of you who donated to make this event possible!

Welcome to northern Minnesota, circa 1995. My Grandpa built me a dollhouse for my 5th birthday, and 30 years later, I gave it back to him. For the first six months of the pandemic I transformed the tiny house into a replica of my grandparent’s house circa 1995, re-creating some of my favorite memories of holidays and summers gathered together as a family at their Minnesota lake home. The remodel started when my family got stuck at my parents during the stay-at-home orders, and when it looked like we would be there a while, I dusted off the old dollhouse to create something new. The original plan was to make it look more modern. Then, I got the idea to make it a miniature version of my favorite place on earth. Although it only stands 3 feet tall, it is full of tiny details and some of my favorite childhood memories. #11cupcakes #artistherapy #dollhouseminiatures #dollhouseminiature #dollhousetherapy #dollhousetour #miniatures #covidprojects #covidproject @mforminiatures
