Teal & Sparkle Bridal Shower

A few weeks ago, I had the joy of hosting a bridal shower for a dear friend. Planning it was just as fun as the celebration itself. As we started brainstorming, I sent her several theme ideas to consider and jokingly added “Sparkly Teal”—her favorite color—to the list. Of course, it came as no surprise when that was the theme she chose. From that moment on, everything fell into place around a fresh, cheerful, and slightly glamorous color palette.

BRIDAL SHOWER FOOD

We decided on a morning brunch, which felt perfect for the relaxed and joyful feel we wanted. To make it extra special, we set up both a cereal bar and a mimosa bar. This gave guests plenty of options to mix, match, and enjoy. I especially loved working with a breakfast theme, since it felt unexpected and fun for a bridal shower. To tie everything together, I used wooden spoons throughout the party for food labels and bunting, which added a cozy, handmade touch.

BRIDAL SHOWER DECOR

When it came to décor, keeping things simple made planning a breeze. Everything centered around shades of teal with soft splashes of pink, creating a look that felt coordinated without being overwhelming. The cereal bar became a focal point, with cereal displayed in large clear containers and paired with easy-to-use scoops. Nearby, milk was served in glass kraft jars, which kept the setup both practical and stylish.

In addition to the cereal, we offered a variety of brunch favorites, including quiche, cinnamon rolls, and doughnut “rings,” so there was something for everyone. To add a personal touch, I painted paper mache MR & MRS letters (similar) in teal and silver and displayed them as part of the décor. Finally, we strung up a photo bunting using the couple’s engagement photos, which quickly became a favorite detail and sparked plenty of conversation. gav Altogether, the sparkly teal theme, thoughtful details, and brunch-style menu came together to create a bridal shower that felt meaningful, relaxed, and full of love.

Happy Planning,
